I love a fusion of foods and this is it! As you can tell in the name...it's a fusions of Cajun and Mexican worlds. So good! Where do I begin. I love birri tacos and their's are great. Fried LA alligator, mexicajun corn, oyster empanadas, Mexican charoyster are great and unique & taste great. I love oxtail and they have a taco one. So good! Plantain empanada beignets are PHENOMENAL! I LOVE this place. It's unique not only to Kenner, but to the NOLA metro area. The see are very friendly and knowledgeable...even fun. The bathrooms are clean and the atmosphere is a super cool & fun Baja-style restaurant. Go...you will make multiple trips over time. I know I can't stop.

The first time I tried to go here.I was turned around stating that the cook wasn't there? And they weren't taking any customers. The second time I went, I sat at the bar with a friend. We ordered tacos and oysters.Oh my god, the oysters were so delicious, also the drinks were very good. The bartender was very nice and very , very pretty. They offer hookah & played hip hop music as well.

The only bad thing I can say is that my Top Shelf margarita was way sweeter than I expected and not enough tequila in my opinion. That's the end of the bad. Now THE GOOD. EVERYTHING else was fantastic. There is parking in the front and back of the restaurant. The restaurant is a decent size. You can definitely go with a group of friends. The wait staff was superb! They were extremely patient, quick to get back and check on the table, and extremely accommodating. Our waitress made multiple great suggestions since it was our first time. The FOOD was on point!!!! The oxtails Birria tacos, the seafood Boat, and the plantain Beignets were magnificent!!! We tried grilled alligator for the first time and it was so damn good! I will be back. I was told that we must try the churro dessert next time.

I'm basing my review solely on food and service. Walking into this place was a little off putting. The parking lot is tiny, the joint is not a vibe, the patrons made us feel out of place by looks alone and the music was too loud. Definitely not a choice for ambiance or decor but damn that food was amazing! Everything tasted homemade. The kids loved their food too. My oldest ordered the ramen, that could have used a little more flavor but it was still good. The tacos, knocked out of the park! We went on a Tuesday and ordered the 3 seafood tacos for $12. We also hit up happy hour so got 2 for one drinks. The staff was very friendly and helpful too. If you're not a sit downer, they looked as if there was a drive thru but I didn't investigate that hard.

The hours on Yelp may not match the hours on the door. We enjoy dining here. The highlights are the cheeses (on everything), birria, Dulce de leche, fried mahi mahi with creamy chipotle and Taco Tuesday. My daughter loves the little dance floor, music, and lights. With the music played may or may not be appropriate for young ears. A few songs had adult language and I'm not sure if it was related to the 8 o'clock hour. I was here a couple of months ago and business has gotten busier since I last visited. Even with increased staffing, service was a bit slow because there were a lot of people being served at the time.

Don't be fooled by the exterior this place is new in town and it was awesome! Very authentic, flavorful, and we got some house made margs made by the owner himself. We were staying close by so we could fly out early the next morning and stumbled in and I am glad we did! If you are going with a group get a few diff things and share.

3826 Williams Blvd, Kenner, LA 70065 If you google search this restaurant, it will show the former "Baja Nola" as permanently closed. Just for reference, this restaurant is called "Baja Nola Mexicajun," with the new address located above. If you are indecisive between Cajun or Mexican for lunch/dinner, then come to "Baja Nola Mexicajun!" They can serve you the best of both worlds! I wasn't able to try everything on their menu, but I do intend to go back to try other varieties of items on the menu! I also added the menu items to help you guys out! 1. Oyster Sampler: Mexican Charoysters, Original Charoysters, and Baja Charoysters. 2. Street Taco Chicken Tinga & Lengua (Cow Tongue) 3. Birria Ramen: Handmade birria beef broth served with ramen, 3 mexican cheese, cilantro, and onions. #Tonylameats #bajanolamexicajun #neworleansla #kennerla #mexicanfood #cajunfood #tacos #birriaramen #seafood
